Kayla Stephens is the co-owner of First Choice Senior Care. She grew up in Jonesboro, AR., and has worked in rehabilitation, hospice care, managed nursing homes and a large home care agency. She has received several awards for sales and quality achievements in hospice and long term care.
Kayla believes in advocating for and educating seniors and their families on a variety of topics and issues that impact them. Reflecting on the need for an independent home care provider interested in quality over quantity, she chased her dream of building her own company that would make a significant difference in the lives of seniors, providing a much-needed service in her own local community.
Kayla holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Arkansas State University, is licensed by the state of Arkansas as a Long-Term Care Administrator, and is a Certified Senior Adviser.
Jeff Stephens is the co-owner of First Choice Senior Care. He grew up in Little Rock and attended Catholic High School and UALR. His early career was spent in the wholesale lumber business working in sales, purchasing, brokerage, and management.
When his 90-year-old grandmother suffered a major stroke, private caregivers were hired to take care of her during the rehabilitation process. One day they left her unattended and she fell out of the wheelchair, fracturing her hip. This ended her rehabilitation and independence, resulting in the need for 24/7 care for the rest of her life.
Because of this experience, he understands the importance of hiring a reputable agency and thoroughly vetting proper caregivers. Jeff is very passionate about what we do and he enjoys making client visits and works in management and growth strategies for the business.
Hilary Hollar has been working as office administrator for First Choice Senior Care since 2015. She is originally from Linden, Indiana and has enjoyed volunteering with seniors for many years through various organizations.
